Michigan area regional meeting of CUFSAA was held on November 12th, 2023, at Fonseka Community Center in Livonia. Michigan. There were more than 30 participants from Detroit, Toledo, Kalamazoo, Ann Arbor, and Lansing.
It was a great success!
Everyone enjoyed fun filled games, food, and making new friends. Prof. L.M.V. Tillekeratne, the founder president of CUFSAA-NA, welcomed everyone and presented CUFSAA’s former, current, and future projects encouraging new alumni to maintain connection with their alma matter.
Membership drive was also successful. New members agreed to run small group fundraising to help needy students along with CUFSAA’s step-up program. Many volunteered to contribute their time to current/future projects when needed. Kudos to everyone who participated and helped organize the event.
