There were over 200 University of Colombo, Science Faculty Graduates, Alumni, Staff, and well-wishers in attendance and they traveled from all over the US and Canada to attend this reunion EVENT!
The United States and Canada are huge countries where vast distances separate our Alumni scattered in different states and provinces. Gathering these alumni who lead busy lives together was a difficult task but was the culmination of a dream that our patron Prof. LMV Tillekeratne had for a long time. A small group of dedicated volunteers met almost every week via Skype meetings and put together Tamasha 2016 , and as you read this, will appreciate as a simply worthwhile effort. All our committee members scattered around North America pulled together their combined volunteer effort, knowing very well that this will signal the beginning of a simply marvelous idea named CUFSAA which is poised to make huge contributions to our Alma Mater.

Our Inaugural get-together (Tamasha 2016) was held on September 03, 2016 (Labor Day Weekend) at Akbar Banquet Hall, 21 Cortlandt Street, Edison NJ 08837. (http://www.akbarrestaurant.com/) We also held a brunch/inaugural meeting of CUFSAA on September 04, 2016. Both events were HUGE successes!
There were over 250 University of Colombo, Science Faculty Graduates, Alumni, Staff, and well-wishers in attendance and they traveled from all over the US and Canada to attend this historic EVENT!
